MEP - Engineer

Job Objectives:

The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing all the logistics of a construction project. Duties may include creating work schedules for your team and allocating responsibilities every conception to completion and onsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations. You might also be required to conduct site visits and report to senior managers on project progress.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee work sites for both new construction and remodel projects, coordinating site activities and assuring that all disciplines directly involved in the project are in phase with the project goals and objectives;
  • Oversee and provide direction to Engineer, subcontractors, and vendors when doing groundwork by ensuring quality standards are met;
  • Conduct and document quality assurance and safety inspections throughout the construction process, assuring working environment is maintained at acceptable levels, and tools and equipment are in good working condition and monitoring compliance with building and safety regulation;
  • Adhere to legal regulations, building and safety codes, and other requirements;
  • Review the work and site progress on daily basis to prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status and construction progress;
  • Reviews the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs;
  • Prepare preventive action or strategies to mitigate risk and response to any problems and issue at construction site as well as working progress on time and needed;
  • Work closely with Technical Manager regarding project objectives and progress;
  • Perform other task as assigned by Project Manager or Project Director;

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Architect, civil engineer or other related fields;
  • Minimum 03 years of experiences as site manager or technical manager in real estate or residential project;
  • Proven good experience working in site construction with any type of construction models;
  • Knowledge of construction methods and technologies, and ability to interpret technical drawings and contracts;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
