Siem Reap- In a tourism destination like Siem Reap, the complete halt of international travel and tourism activities create a grueling challenge for locals whose livelihood are dependent on the industry. On the other hand, tough times are also a test of our commitment to care and Urbanland’s hotel in Siem Reap, Treeline Urban Resort, went above and beyond to give back to the community during the COVID-19 crisis.

While operations are on hold, Treeline Urban Resort is partnering with like-minded businesses - Jaya House River Park, Mulberry Boutique Hotel and the Cambodia Landmine Museum - to ease the burden of those struggling financially due to the COVID-19 crisis. So far the Hotels Joining Hands initiative has donated over 40,000 meals and thousands of dry supply bundles, helping thousands of Cambodians who have been badly impacted by this pandemic including tuk-tuk and taxi drivers, security guards, waiters, chefs and cleaners who all serve the tourism industry.

The initiative to deliver 400 nutritious and eco-friendly packaged meals per day is a pledge to social contribution in two different ways. Not only does it directly support the struggling communities and Siem Reap locals who depend wholly on tourism for their everyday income, but it simultaneously supports local farmers and suppliers who we source all our ingredients from.

Witnessing how our team at Treeline is riding out this storm so respectably, while never failing to put people at the heart of their operation, is a proud moment for Urbanland and a testament of our mission to building a better Cambodia.

We are delighted to announce that Treeline will be reopening on August 14th, with very special offers from $89 per night! Our team there is beyond excited to welcome back all guests, as we continue to keep our eyes on this uncertain period by taking the highest level of preventive measures, and strengthening our operating procedures to keep all staff and guests safe and happy during their stay. We personally cannot wait to get a chance to visit Treeline again!
